Wonder Woman Enters $2.6 Million Funding Round In This Crypto

Producer, model & actor Gal Gadot and producer Jaron Varsano took part in a funding round where AdaSwap - Cardano's first decentralised finance(DeFi) raised $ 2.6 million for building a new DEX.

The funding was led by iAngels, a female led VC firm and nine other leading VCs like Pluto digital, Coti and Shima Capital also participated.

The AdaSwap DEX will function similar to UniSwap and will allow Cardano native tokens and stablecoins to be swapped. The DEX will also feature an upcoming NFT marketplace and will provide its users with the options of staking and yield farming.

The DEX will be governed by its native token ASW and this token can be freely exchanged with other tokens in the DEX, which means zero fees for transactions.
